Get ready for your driver’s road test
 Taking your driver’s license exam can be nerve-wracking, but it doesn’t need to be. Our Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) division aims to help calm your anxieties by making sure you know what to expect before, during and after your road test.
“We know many people who come to take their test are nervous. Understanding the process can go a long way toward putting them at ease,” said DVS Director Pong Xiong.

New DPS website to provide a better experience for Minnesotans
 We're launching a new Department of Public Safety website later this fall to make it easier than ever to get the information you need whenever and wherever you need it. Our new website — which will still be found at dps.mn.gov — will give all Minnesotans a better user experience by modernizing the design, making it mobile friendly and refining how the content is organized.
